Koloso gives African teachers everything they need to plan, teach, assess, analyse and adapt — aligned to their national curriculum, on a smartphone.

Teachers are expected to deliver quality education without curriculum-aligned tools. Syllabi are dense, resources don’t fit local contexts, and assessment is manual. Teaching quality depends on individual teacher capacity — unsustainable at scale.

We’ve spent three years mapping African national curricula into a unified taxonomy built on the UNESCO Global Proficiency Framework. No competitor has done this. Everything matches the teacher’s own grades, terminology, learning objectives, and regulatory requirements.

Traction: 50+ schools across Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria, and Uganda. 100% renewal rate. Official assessment platform for Zambia’s Mini-CEO Competition (~270 schools). Two of three co-founders are women. Three years full-time on minimal salaries.
