Our project will be implemented in Eastern Rwanda. We are willing to start growing tilapias and vegetables in aquaponics. A 400kW solar PV plant (with storage) will be installed on the top of our greenhouse. A coldroom and a food processing line will be implemented in the greenhouse as well. The power produced by the solar PV plant will be self-consumed and distributed in a local mini-grid providing electricity to the nearby househoders. This pilot project to be implemented in a land of 1ha, will provide jobs to up 50 young people.
