Currently, diabetes is gaining ground. In recent years, this disease is currently affecting 7 % of the Congolese according to the prevalence of the National Programme of Action against Diabetes (PNLD). To prevent its onset or delay, some simple measures can be effective, including avoiding the consumption of white sugar as much as possible. Since the human organism needs more energy for its operation, fructose contained in the honey is a good solution.
That is why we decided to set up a honey processing and tranformation unit (UTTM), not only to satisfy the need for consumption, but also to support the artisanal apiculturists in the chaining value of this food.
