Our project is a start-up, life-altering agribusiness venture in West Africa – an advanced semi-automated cashew processing factory capable of transforming raw cashew nuts (RCN) into quality cashew kernels that meet the high standards and traceability requirements of the global market. Once adequately funded our well-managed agribusiness with a social-economic impact outlook will produce cashew nuts that are cooked, shelled, peeled, sorted and packed for export to the growing global cashew kernel market mainly in the United States and Europe, thus adding significant value to local crops. KII plans on creating about 400 new jobs mainly for women and young adults, on supporting socio-economic mobility, poverty eradication, reduction of potential armed conflicts efforts as well as dangerous and illegal ocean immigration on flimsy dinghies. Furthermore, KII intents on developing strong win-win partnerships with local Raw Cashew producers, farmers and cooperatives and pay them fair prices
