The organic fertiliser solution we are providing utilizes and combines low-cost, locally available byproducts like charcoal fines and sawdust, effectively turning what was previously considered energy waste into a high-value organic fertilizer. The specific combination of vermicompost (produced from earthworm castings on livestock manure and organic food waste) with these materials is designed to create a circular and sustainable input for degrading soils. We believe we are pioneers in Uganda in blending these particular raw materials to create a potent organic soil amendment. Finally, this approach allows us to offer the fertilizer at lower prices to farmers compared to other alternatives, thanks to the low-cost nature of the inputs.
