KarisimbiTech is a health-tech startup based in Kigali, Rwanda. Our mission is to revolutionize data management in healthcare. We do that through XanaHealth, a user-friendly electronic health records web application that connects patients, providers, payers (insurers), and policy-makers.

How does it work?
1) Hospitals and health facilities create facility and doctor’s accounts on XanaHealth
2) When a patient comes for a visit, doctors capture patient’s information in XanaHealth (bio information, clinical information, and billing information)
3) While the patient is being treated, insurance providers have access to real-time insurance claims information, hence increasing efficiency and reducing errors.
4) Patients can access their health data seamlessly using the web app (mobile app is planned in the future)
5) The Ministry of Health can access health repots from across the country.
