Green Collar Initiative of the Kahawa Chit Chat Social Enterprise, is an Agri-Business developed to help the vulnerable community, to be specific women and People with Disabilities, within and around Central Kenya. Currently, both small and large scale farmers are experiencing low productivity, poor harvests and market returns, due to Climate change effects and poor market access. By improving their economic prospects and livelihoods through the production and sales of African Traditional Crops and the value addition of the produce not sold (via the method of Blanching and Drying), would entail a sustainable and consistent income growth for the target group.We compete in the growing value added market, which last year was constrained by the Corona Virus Pandemic. We are currently not Similar to any business in the local agricultural marketplace, this is one Key differentiator within the region.We are looking to implement the production/Value Addition of Traditional Vegetables.
