Jamelec Innovations Limited Produce energy saving cookstove and charcoal briquettes from wastes.

The project promotes the uptake of environmentally clean energy technologies among the target households such as technologies like solar for lightning and improved/energy saving stoves for cooking which are free from pollution, reduces carbon emission and is sustainable. Train and practice production of energy saving cookstoves that ensure heat transfer to the environment is minimized hence less energy consumption and thus reduction in deforestation and promotion of environment protection. These cookstoves burn more efficiently, improving thermal transfer, saving fuel, reducing GHG emissions and reducing deforestation in Kenya.

I am the only briquettes producer in Tana River County hence the only competition is from the wood charcoal producers. The quality of the briquettes is 2.5 times better than the available normal charcoal of similar pricing.
