HomeOwner – Our target market are homeowners in the township, mostly beneficiaries of RDP houses. They normally live in poverty and vulnerable situation and mostly women. With our product, which uses projected rental inflows for affordability, we are able to provide hope and immediate income alleviating poverty. Our current book is 100% female homeowners who are unemployed and single parents and grand parents.

Tenants – with our product we are able to fill the gap in the shortage of formal rental units in the townships. The biggest rental market in the townships is still in shack backyards. With our product we have been able to enable tenants affordable space to upgrade to a rental unit that support improved standards of living.

Informal business sector – our procurement prioritizes informal business for building materials. All our other materials are also procured locally. Our growing tenant market contributes to the local economy – 40% of our tenants do not come from the same community. 

Community – IsiDuli operates a formal leasing structure, introducing an approach that will ensure an increase in safety of the communities. During and after construction our company is able to create and sustain jobs using local resources.

Government – Through our development process we are supporting council processes mostly neglected, but important, in our townships by ensuring compliance with municipal building plans process, rehabilitate owner electrical connections to a legal and safe structure.
