With a Population of about 200million people, Nigeria still does NOT meet it’s annual demand for Blood of 2 million Units. In Africa in general the concept of Blood donation is still marred by cases of unawareness, religious beliefs barriers and high death rates from related issues from delay to lack of donors.

My Solution is to develop a Mobile Application where a pool of Donors can easily be located, identified and directly linked to Patients and Hospitals. This will improve greatly the availability of donors therefore reducing the high costs attached to blood donation in hospitals today. The target is to save the Lives of Pregnant women and their u born babies, Sickle Cell sufferers and Surgery patients or accident victims. The App will be called iDON8 and operate a subscription Business model for B2B and download charge for B2B. We target 10 million downloads in 2 years each at $2 per download.
