Hydrogen Energy Applications (HYENA) Solution to reliable remote power using hydrogen fuel cells

Hydrogen Energy Applications (HYENA) is a South African deep-tech startup company focused on electrical power generation using hydrogen fuel cells as ‘diesel-generator replacements’. HYENA has the technology to generate the necessary hydrogen by using local LPG as the hydrogen carrier and thereby eliminating the need for a distinct hydrogen distribution network. The infrastructure for LPG distribution is already in place, making localized power generation with HYENA POWER PODs a reality. The result is affordable, on-demand and weather-independent electrical power from locally available fuel, with 15 % less CO2 than a diesel generator.
