Green Scene Energy PLC is innovative as it provides solar-powered agro-processing solutions specially for spices, vegetables and fruit processing in rural Ethiopia. The venture replaces traditional firewood based methods with solar energy which improves efficiency, product quality, and sustainability. Beside the innovative product it also provide a financial model such as Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) and Lease-to-Own model through financial institutions, banks, cooperatives, and SACCOS making solar technology accessible to smallholder farmers especially women. Through this we believe local communities can be both financially stable and be productive in their business. It also contributes to environmental sustainablity by reducing reliance on firewood.
