GradSkul Assist aims to bridge the information and knowledge gap so that low-income students who want to apply to overseas Grad schools for postgraduate studies can have the same opportunities as their peers from around the world.
GradSkul Assist is going to be a web-based platform where low-income Nigerian graduates (“Applicants”) are matched with graduate students at top universities (“Mentors”) who serve as volunteer Grad school counselors throughout the course of the student’s application process. Using an in-depth curriculum, Mentors will work one-on-one with Applicants on the website to navigate the Grad school application process: where and when to apply, how to write a compelling admissions statement, how to fill out Financial Aid Forms, etc.
