Golden Packs Supply (GPS) is a Dar es Salaam based circular manufacturing venture transforming Tanzania’s packaging ecosystem through low-carbon, waste-to-value production. The company converts abundant agricultural residues including sugarcane bagasse, coconut husks, and mango processing waste into molded fiber packaging as a sustainable alternative to imported fossil-based plastics.

Tanzania generates an estimated 0.84–1.21 million metric tonnes of plastic waste annually while recycling rates remain below 4%. GPS addresses this challenge through localized biodegradable manufacturing, agricultural waste valorization, import substitution, and reduced carbon emissions from shorter supply chains.

Beyond packaging production, GPS operates as a circular industrial platform supporting Tanzania’s transition to a low-carbon economy aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8, 9, 12, and 13.
