Meraki Studios; Meraki meaning doing something with soul, creativity, or love — when you put “something of yourself” into what you’re doing, whatever it may be.

We should all be able to express ourselves through whichever means we choose to and mine is photography and media. The idea is to have a Photography Studio/Space that people can rent out for shoots, but also a teaching ground for young people to come and learn different skills within the media industry where workshops will be put on and limited resources supplied. The studio space can also be hired for workshops and events to be held including exhibitions. It will also have an outside space for outside shoots and again an event space that can be hired/used. The idea is to allow young people to be in one space and to have some of the resources they need to complete projects and ideas they may have to promote creativity and to give the chance for people with lack of access to these things a chance to create and learn.
