We onboard talents into our programs for different cohorts, train them and give them follow up tasks, we then track our graduates through these tasks and measure their performance. We say the reward for responsibility is more responsibility, all our students know this… lol, so the better they perform, the more tasks they get.
They graduate from tasks to team work to contract jobs, to remote jobs and then onsite jobs.
As the founder, I have been doing this since 2016, but decided to put a structure around it late 2019 up until mid 2020. We started the hashtag #futureofworkafrica on instagram and has since given out over 110 contract jobs, 36 remote and onsite jobs (Nigeria, Canada, Lithuania and the US). Two of our graduates relocated to Canada and Italy respectively after been offered employment by the company they worked for.
Classes are delivered mostly online and student interact via google documents and WhatsApp groups, we often place phone and video calls when necessary.
