Team is comprised of the 2 co-founders: Thomas CEO (thomas@franc.app, +27 84 446 0769) has a doctorate from Oxford in engineering and ex-Google product manager, Sebastian COO (seb@franc.app, +27 82 787 7832) is a qualified actuary with over 15 years experience in investments. Our CTO, Kyle Welsh, is an ex-Amazon engineer. Our Chairman and CIO is Nic Oldert, ex-founding partner of Profile Data, a leading financial analytics platform (Bloomberg for South Africa). Our CMO, Shera Deavall, worked for Ogilvy & Mather before joining the team. Our Risk and Compliance officer, Nicky Eilers, is a accredited compliance officer with 15 years market experience. Our founders own 60% of the business, with senior management owning a further 27%, the remaining employees (N=11) own the remaining 13% of the business.
