Fibrazo Connecting ignored urban neighborhoods to the digital world

Internet connectivity is a fundamental human right. Fibrazo seeks to close the digital gap in poor urban neighborhoods in Latin America, by constructing and operating last mile Fiber To The Home (FTTH) networks. Many of these neighborhoods have limited access to internet, which is typically the expensive, pay per data mobile phone, constraining a household’s ability to benefit from the digital world. This has been further exacerbated during the pandemic, where a greater share of daily life became digital.

Fibrazo builds the fiber optic networks in LatAm’s poorest urban neighborhoods and provide broadband internet services (>20mbps). Customers are not tied to long-term contracts and the service is pre-paid and fractioned, allowing them to make partial or no payments if they experience an income crunch. High speed, quality internet opens up a whole new world of opportunities for the urban poor.
