Esante Company is a telemedicine web platform aiming to improve access to health care in Burkina Faso, where access to health professionals is limited.

The platform allows to book online appointments for clinical or remote consultations, perform secure online consultations,, and generate electronic versions of diagnoses and prescriptions. It also offers a consultation history, an electronic patient record accessible from anywhere, and the possibility to share medical documents between doctor and patient. In addition, the platform offers a blog with articles written by doctors to raise awareness on health-related issues.

The project addresses one of the major social challenges of access to health services, which often results in delayed diagnosis and poor treatment outcomes. The project will ensure that patients receive quality and timely health services by enabling online patient management. It also addresses environmental challenges by reducing the need to travel.
