My name is Esther Ogbodu the CEO/CO – founder of Erith Ventures Limited, a Women Owned Business that partners with women cashew nuts farmers for the supply of raw cashew nuts.
We ventured into cashew nuts and cashew butter processing and sales because we observed that although Nigeria is one of the world largest producers’ of cashew nuts, not much is done in the area of processing.
Of the 10 employees of our work force, 7 are women from the local community where we operate. We believe that empowering these women through job creation and also by partnering with the Women farmers, would make them to feed their children well and send them to good schools thus keying into 3 of the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals namely Zero Hunger, Quality education and Gender equality.
We need machineries that can process 5tons of shelling of our nuts per day with high shelling rate of 95% -98% with automation capacity from 40 – 200kg/hr so that we can employ more women. Thank you.
