Team The EMTINI concept was born from the shared vision of a husband-and-wife team who have always believed that the best family memories are made while exploring new places together. Over the years, we have spent countless weekends and holidays discovering hidden gems across Southern Africa—from mountain cabins and riverside retreats to secluded bush escapes. Each trip reinforced the same idea: the places we remembered most weren’t necessarily the biggest or the most luxurious, but those that offered breathtaking scenery, thoughtful design, peace, and a genuine connection with nature. Inspired by these experiences, we set out to create a destination where other couples and families could slow down, reconnect, and create lasting memories of their own. Our passion is to build more than accommodation—we want to create places where guests can watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee, enjoy evenings around a fire under a sky full of stars and unplug from the demands of everyday life.
