Empowerment For the Poor-Uganda The beekeeping project will promote conservation and tackling poverty

Bee keeping is a sustainable way of tackling poverty among poor communities. It protects trees and forest products which is used as a source of energy by a large community of people in Uganda. Eco Bees Green Solutions a social venture of Empowerment for the Poor-Uganda will establish adoption of ecological and sustainable beekeeping practice in Uganda. The main objective of the project is to create conservation awareness, empowering communities on the modern beekeeping methods, targeting women and youth from rural areas and supporting them bee producing equipment on credit to produce honey and bees’ byproducts. The project will be started in Northern Uganda and replicated in other regions of Uganda in following years.
