El Terreno Cultural Exchange for Collective Change

As a centre for cultural exchange and social innovation, we bring together local ecuadorians and other form around the world through sustainable tourism, culture, education and ecology to create a more meaningful and prosperous world.

We are located in the village of Atandahua, in the nexus between Guaranda – the capital of the Ecuadorian province of Bolivar – and 17 indigenous communities (5,700 population) with various health, economy, education, environment and societal issues.

We have a property in the center of the Ecuadorian Andes where we are cultural centre with a restaurant, training room, offices, accommodation, permaculture gardens and forest, animals, tourism activities and much more! In the community, we now have volunteers from around the world and projects to improve the life of local people; projects include the construction of smokeless stoves, water filtration systems, micro-businesses and community tourism.
