Ekima delivers a unified digital operating system for African education institutions. We help schools, governments, and training institutions solve three connected problems in one platform: learning content availability, reporting and communication, and flexible payment options.

Ekima has built strong traction since its formation in 2025 through the merger of Smartdarasa and Smartcore. Our strongest proof is our work with the Tanzania Institute of Education (TIE), an institution under the Ministry of Education responsible for curriculum development and support for basic education.

The work involved building an interactive and inclusive learning platform, digitizing TIE’s content, and integrating AI for practice, analytics, and recommendations. TIE has engaged Ekima across three consecutive phases, and we have delivered each in full. Beyond TIE, Ekima has signed an MOU with SIDO and CSSC for the creation of digital learning platforms and content for learning.
