Ejido Verde explored several avenues to promote reforestation, from offering pine saplings free tappers, to evolve commercial forest plantations. At this stage of transition business started from a philanthropic initiative, the solution chosen was the establishment of a sustainable and scalable business model, which includes a strategy to generate positive impact on social and environmental level. In 2016, with the hiring of a full-time human resources structure, led by Managing Director and CEO Shaun Paul, the Ejido Verde initiative was consolidated by transforming itself into a legal and for-profit company. Currently, Ejido Verde is constituted as a SAPI de CV.
