Recycle Moi is the brand name of the first natural and biodegradable sanitary napkins in Mauritius. It was born out of the need to solve a problem that millions of women face every single day and yet most of them won’t complain because it is about our periods.
Recycle Moi is the fruit of two years of research, creation and testing for a suitable natural absorbent which could replace plastic sanitary napkins.
We also do Sakili! It is the brand name of our upcycling bags and accessories. Sakili has been transforming advertising waste into amazing products; totes, backpacks, guitar bags, surf bags, pouches, travel bags, recently outdoor seating. Since our creation in 2017, we have manufactured over 350,000 products, employing more than 20 women from shelters, rehabilitation centres and from underprivileged regions. We have rescued hundreds tonnes of non biodegradable solid waste from going into the landfill and ocean.
