Fish processing is an untapped segment of the fish value chain. The continuous neglect of this segment has created a market gap that is increasing.
Our innovation reduced post harvest loss in rural Lagos by 65% in 6months of our operation, and increased general fish shelf life by 75% in 1 year of our commercial operation. Through our operations, we have been able to generate 11 direct employment and over 20 indirect employment. We aim to train more local farmers, expand our processing unit and become smoke catfish suppliers to both rural and urban consumers.
