Waste management is an alarming issue in Liberia due to the numerous difficulties associated with waste collection, transportation, disposal, and recycling. The waste is either burned or dumped in open spaces, posing risks to the environment and human health, according to the World Bank, which estimates that less than 10% of waste is collected and disposed of in an environmentally sound manner. Biomass briquette production from organic waste is one of the innovative solutions to this problem. Biomass briquettes from organic waste have unique advantages over conventional fuel sources. Lastly, looking at waste as a value-added product offers a long-term, environmentally responsible solution to waste management in Liberia. It also reduces deforestation while providing clean biomass energy for cooking and heating in homes and small businesses.SectorsBiofuels, Environmental services, Renewable energyLocationCape Coast, GhanaStageSign in to view detailsMarketsSign in to view detailsCustomer modelSign in to view detailsContactSign in to view detailsSocial media
