Additionally, a significant number of young people are often misled by political actors to engage in illegal activities, such as political violence
and gang recruitment.
Debe addresses this critical problem by offering a political strategy game that educates and empowers young Kenyans through a gamified
simulation of the political process. Unlike traditional civic education methods and other political games like Usiku’s Wewe, Debe combines a
more engaging gameplay with a data-driven approach, providing a unique platform for learning about Kenyan governance and promoting
positive democratic values.
Debe leverages a dual revenue model, offering a free-to-play version (B2C) supported by ads and in-app purchases, alongside an enterprise
license (B2B) tailored for strategic partnerships with organizations such as state ministries , civil soc
