Due to COVID-19 a lot of people lost their jobs, especially within events and gastronomics. On the other side famers lost a lot of seasonal workers from other European countries due to the pandemic. We see a match between farmers and youth (that lost their jobs). They could work on farms, earn money and help to farmer to get a closer connection to food. Farmers become more empowered and the youth understands and see where the food is coming from, and how much effort and resources it needs. This reduces food waste, restores the connection between farm and cities and helps to make the agri-sector more sustainable.
