Extend the shelf life of perishable food from 2 days to 20, reducing post harvest loss by 70%. Increase Local Farmer Income With more of their harvest to sell, smallholder farmers, retailers and wholesalers will be able to increase their annual income by 25%.

Create Jobs for Women and Youth

Our target is to hire mainly youth and women to manage the operations and collection of revenue at DAYAT FRESH stores. Youths from TVET(s) and NYS shall be hired for fabrication, construction and installation of the Dayat Fresh cold-stores and development of the digital marketplace for the fresh produce.

Reduce Malnutrition

More organically preserved, produced and nutritious food will be available to rural and urban dwellers, especially children. Innovation Promotion Dayat captain Groceries shall expose the kenyan farmer to emerging technologies.
