Daka Space Technologies (DST) is building AI-powered aerial intelligence systems to address critical gaps in disaster response, climate monitoring, and security across Africa. Our flagship platform, Spectra-1, is a hybrid VTOL, long-endurance drone equipped with EO/thermal sensors and onboard AI, enabling real-time detection, tracking, and environmental analysis in low-infrastructure settings.

DST combines UAVs, ground sensors, and future space systems into a unified intelligence stack, delivering faster response, better decision-making, and improved data sovereignty for governments and infrastructure operators. Starting in Malawi and scaling across Africa, we are developing cost-effective, locally adaptable solutions where global systems are too expensive or impractical.

Our goal is to build Africa’s sovereign intelligence infrastructure, thus, supporting climate resilience, disaster response, and security through scalable, AI-driven monitoring systems.
