Cultivatin is a food and agricultural information technology and services startup that allows information sharing, resources and community support among next-generation farmers. We are using social connections to establish a resource and information sharing networks among next-generation farmers in Africa. This will allow farmers to support themselves and access resources and finance from other organizations and individuals without a collateral.
Established in 2020, Cultivatin received a $10,000 grand prize of the Net Impact Case Competition sponsored by Bayer. The Net Impact Food Solutions Challenge is an accelerator and pitch competition that challenges today’s brightest minds to find solutions to the most pressing issues in food and agriculture.
Creating resilience in food and agriculture would need all the stakeholders working together through the cultivatin tool, including farmers or growers themselves.
