The heart of the volcano is a brand of artisanal design that combines tradition with innovation. Contemporary designs combined with traditional Mayan textiles in utilitarian products for daily use with meaning and messages.
We work with women artisans from the Guatemalan altiplano. Hand embroidery are designed by Lucia, a Guatemalan visual artist and traditional textiles come from second-hand parts in which we rescue the parts that can still be used.
