Hello Erf is a IoT enabled digital solution for agricultural mechanization – Uber for farm machineries. In Ethiopia 14 million ha of land is cultivated annually and of this 70% is suitable for mechanization. It’s only 16% of the total demand getting the service. On the other hand, there are +7000 farm machinery service providers utilizing only 50% of their potential. Hello Erf through its call center, mobile app and well trained agents on the ground will actively collect demand, aggregate and link with the nearest service provider in the area. This will increase farmers’ access to mechanization technology and profitability of service providers. With only 10% of the market share has the potential to serve 300K farmers, cultivate 420K ha of land and generate 1.6 million USD revenue over the period of two years.
