We address the environmental, health, and economic challenges driven by heavy reliance on charcoal and firewood across sub-Saharan Africa. These fuels contribute to deforestation and indoor air pollution. Charcoal production proven to exacerbate greenhouse gas emissions.
Our solution is clean, affordable carbonized biomass briquettes made from biomass waste, offering high thermal, long-burning alternative to traditional fuels. By converting waste into energy, we reduce open burning and prevent organic pollution from entering waterways.
Our innovation lies in our circular, community-driven production model that empowers youth and women to locally produce and distribute briquettes, creating livelihoods while scaling climate impact. We are also aiming at carbon credits integration.
Our key competitors include charcoal vendors, LPG and ethanol-based fuel suppliers, and other briquette companies. We differentiate through affordability and democratizing access for households and MSMEs.
