Code for Change is an innovative non-profit organization that focuses exclusively on creating on & offline coding tools and curriculum for high schools. Seeing the need for a coding program created specifically for under-resourced, mobile-oriented, and young communities, CodeJIKA was developed and launched in 2018. CodeJIKA is a fun, offline vocational coding program for high schools that increases access and inclusion to digital learning to both youths in under-resourced schools and to female students. The CodeJIKA curriculum is engaging and easy to use. Each module is purposeful and gender-inclusive, providing practical skills for entrepreneurship and employment. The CodeJIKA curriculum ignites hope, provides vision, and rock-solid tech skills. Being completely offline and free, CodeJIKA will create a new generation of youth that has job-ready digital skills before they leave school.
