Chrystal Heart CBO Service to Community

Chrystal Heart is a CBO that exists to empower the most vulnerable in the society to be able to access quality health, quality education, and socio-economic services in Ugenya Sub-County, Siaya County.
The organization targets children living with HIV, adolescent and young single parents living with HIV and empower them through village savings economic model as well as promoting agriculture at household levels.
The organization had used the vertical model of farming through vertical bags and vertical farms due to limited land owned by the beneficiaries to support them in nutritional uptake and economic strengthening through the selling of their produce.
Currently, we have clustered our beneficiaries into 10 farmer groups of 10 members each being trained on hydroponic farming and practically managing hydroponic gardens.
