Mejoremos believes in the universal right every person must live in a home that is adequate, comfortable, safe and that responds to its specific needs. The “Mejoremos model” provides comprehensive support to ensure assisted self-help housing processes. Our methodology guarantees our clients have enough information, confidence, and tools for them to be at the center of the intervention’s decision-making. Technically, we have included in our service model the particularities of incremental housing embedded in assisted self-help, intervening in existing housing stock, building progressively, and managing and optimizing resources are some of those elements.
In 15 years, we have had the honor to work with +7,500 families in improving their housing conditions. We focus on addressing the qualitative housing shortage and bettering resilience after natural disasters, both capacities that given LATAM’s particularities can significantly improve the living conditions in the region.
