Mission & Vision
– Our Mission is to connect drivers who have empty seats in their cars with people who need a ride through Web based and mobile app solutions.
– Our Vision is to create the largest transportation network in Africa.
Problem
– Public transport is limited in reach, impersonal, unsafe and often unreliable and overcrowded.
– No easy way exists to rideshare for people who need to travel or for motorists to offer a ride.
Market
– In Africa, there are over 50 million registered vehicles, of which 70% travel with 3 or more vacant seats resulting in over 100 million vacant seats at any given time.
Solution
– IOS & Android apps and a website allowing drivers with empty seats in their cars to offer rides to passengers needing lifts.
– Business is modelled on Blablacar, the worlds largest and most successful ride sharing(carpooling) company.
– Product is already fully functional, we have over 1200 members.
