We keep fowls on an extensive system that requires more land and need less expensive feeding, goats on that same extensive land, sheep and also pigs which all live in the same farm and depends generally on each other. In my country, pock meat is relatively expensive due to an acute shortage in the market and also the sheep market is very high during festive periods such that it runs a shortage in the market. Goat meat is been highly recommended by doctors today due to its low fats and cholesterol content and it’s milk also relatively expensive creating a good market. With the extensive available of land in my community it will permit us to have a relatively large piece of land at a very low price. The fowls have a live cycle of 3 months after which they can be sold and the profits injected in the pigs that will go for one year and generate higher profits. I have a good mastery of veterinary and animal disease control which will be a great asset for the farm.
