It has a component of fish farming, vegetable gardening and livestock production
The vision is self-reliance through Agri-Enterprise and community development.
There are 143, 800 People in Yambio County 60% of this population suffer from malnutrition, 85% comprise of Youth and Children and 55% are Women, OCHA.

70% of this population is illiterate and most of the youth are idle and engage in criminal behavior.
