Our innovation has helped to increase protein production. We do this by helping farmers access feeds. The feeds have helped 10,000 farmers to raise chicken, for eggs and chicken meat. 5000 dairy farmers have tripled their milk production. This has increased income for the local farmers. These farmers have expanded the market for their products to include urban centers and communities outside western Kenya. Our innovation has increased spendable cash to the community. We are increasing food production through specialized training for the farmers. For example, we have training for dairy farmers which is custom to dairy farmers. Likewise, we have training for egg farmers. This has caused specialization which in turn has increased output from the farmers.
