Bluewave is a Microinsurance intermediary founded in 2016 currently operating in Kenya, Uganda and DRC. Bluewave was created for the purposes of designing and deploying Microinsurance solutions that cater to the mass market and solve the insurance uptake barriers which are Cost, Trust, Understanding and Access. Bluewave has devoted resources to build a robust digital platform that enables efficient onboarding, servicing, claims reporting and payment and is made accessible to even those with the most basic feature phones.
