Blueblay Aquaponics Fresher than the freshest

Blueblay Aquaponics is helping its customers get a consistent supply of a wide range of organic vegetable and fish into the market. Our system of agriculture allows us to plant vegetables which are not produced in Botswana: Culinary herbs such as Mint, parsley, Chives, Basel and not forgetting we are also producing fish such as Tilapia and Catfish. The country is experiencing huge import of vegetables and fish. Aquaponics is a food production system which combines conventional aquaculture and hydroponics to produce fish and organic produce simultaneously without adding any artificial fertiliser. This is what makes us unique, we can produce a wide range of vegetables on the same area as plant root systems are not on the soil but on water. Aquaponics also uses 95% less water than conventional farming and 35% lower operating costs than hydroponics as fish waste becomes a nutrient source for crops in the form of nitrates and macronutrien. Our whole system is operated using solar energy
