At Beta Agric Ventures, we are channeling green technology and climate-mitigation techniques to supply chain management in widely-consumed perishables, starting with tomatoes, peppers and onions.

This means that we are not just addressing the problems of post-harvest losses and wastages from the middle of the value chain or at the point of harvest only, but from pre-planting down to distribution of our final products.

These processes involve the adoption and implementation of climate-smart farming techniques and GAP as facilitated by our partners at Horti Nigeria; the utilization of solar-powered cold storage units as engineered by our partners at the Nigerian Stored Products Research Institute (NSPRI); and the application of modern science and technology to the processing of our raw materials into quality, safe and nutritious food products for household consumption.

Our on-farm practices also promote gender inclusivity in agriculture and socio-economic development.
