Bella’s Fresh Farm Produce Mushroom Farming

My name is Rachel and am a mushroom farmer in Nairobi Kenya.
Mushroom farming is a business that has not been ventured into, yet it has a variety of business opportunities. Mushrooms are sold to hotels especially vegetarian hotels, they are used in adding nutritional value to the supplements (tablets) we take, put into porridge flour, for making soup and thickeners. Mushrooms are also used in making organic farm chemicals.
Mushrooms have many nutritional value. They contain vitamin B1, B2, C, D, proteins, folic acid, fiber, zinc, magnesium, potassium, copper, and phosphorus. They have medicinal properties such as antitumor, antiviral and microbial properties, it removes serum cholesterol from the blood, they boost immune system, they regulate blood pressure and also regulate insulin and blood sugar.
Mushrooms have no wastage, the waste from the harvested mushroom bags used can be recycled to produce farm fertilizer.
