The idea of the Arab Influence Factor Project began in 2007, for various reasons. The most important of these was the absence of a global interest in calculating the effect factors for the Arab magazines and the lack of accurate and systematic indicators on the quality of the scientific activity written in Arabic. Of the monopoly imposed by international institutions on the classification of magazines and the denial of Arab magazines of this right. We planted the idea plant in Bahrain and sprouted its fruit in Cairo and the idea was shared by our colleagues from the ocean to the Gulf.
