AquaRech App is improving food system in the following ways:
a) Increasing productivity of small scale fish farmers: By farmers accessing high quality feeds with better FCR, we are reducing production cost by up to 25% and increased yields by 50% by reducing production period from 13 months to 8 months. This guarantees consumers consistent access to fish source of protein.
b) Connecting input suppliers and Producers (feed suppliers and Farmers): By providing a communication platform (e-commerce platform) through which fish feeds move easily from manufacturers to producers, we are enabling aquaculture sector to meet the demand of inputs by farmers which is critical towards ensuring stable food systems
c) IoT Powered System: Our innovation supports data driven production system through the use of IoT. As such sustainably increasing productivity, building resilience to climate risks of small-scale fish farmers and lowering greenhouse emissions.
