Uganda generates about 1,600 tonnes of plastic waste daily, yet only 5% is recycled. Poor waste management has led to severe environmental and human impacts, including the Kitezi landfill tragedy in Kawempe, where over 100 lives were lost. Our business transforms plastic waste into durable, eco-friendly building materials, reducing pollution while creating safer construction alternatives. By linking waste recovery to local production, we improve livelihoods, strengthen community resilience, and offer a scalable solution to Uganda’s plastic and housing challenges.
